Job Details:
Veterinary Technician
Looking for a full-time technician to join our team. Must have at least two years experience and be well versed in veterinary medicine.
Duties include:
- Calculating and administering medications and treatments prescribed by a veterinarian
- Performing diagnostic testing - bloodwork, radiographs, microscopy
- Monitoring vital signs of patients
- Monitoring anesthesia and assisting veterinarian in surgery
- Provide nursing care to animals
- Maintain records of patients
- Dispense medications as prescribed by a veterinarian
- Educating clients
- Operating practice management software and Cubex
Veterinary Assistant
Looking for a part-time assistant to join our team. Must have at least 6 months experience and have basic knowledge of veterinary medicine.
Duties include:
- Assist veterinarians in providing treatment and care to animals
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by a veterinarian
- Maintain patient records
- Clean and maintain animal cages and kennels
- Provide assistance with laboratory testing
- Monitor animal behavior and report to veterinarian
- Trim nails, clips mats, and provide basic grooming
- Operating practice management software and Cubex
