An ideal candidate will be comfortable greeting guests and answering phones in a professional manner, working well with the rest of the staff and have a clear understanding of the protocols for set by doctors, and schedule appointments. In addition, the Veterinary Receptionist will also be responsible for performing administrative tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Answer the phone.
- Greet clients.
- Check-in clients and pets.
- Keep a clean and tidy front area.
- Work with team members to ensure the best care for all pets.
Veterinary Technician Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced part-time Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and be knowledgeable in both medical and surgical procedures. Responsibilities include providing basic medical care, performing laboratory tests, administering medications, and assisting with surgeries. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, have excellent communication skills, and be able to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment. Must be rabies vaccinated in order to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
- Assisting with medical procedures such as ultrasounds, radiographs, and laboratory tests.
- Monitoring vital signs of animals.
- Providing nursing care to animals.
- Maintaining accurate records of animal treatments and medications.
- Educating clients on proper animal care and nutrition.
- Cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
- Assisting in the preparation of animals for surgery.
